Sorry for the delay, but here are some photos from Halloween.
Our first stop was Grandma LaDonna’s house. We stood with him on the porch and tried to get him to hold his bag open.
Only after some fun looking matchbox cars went in did he decide it was pretty cool. Of course he just wanted to grab them straight out of the bag!
Mmmmm, Twinkie. The beginning of the sugar buzz.
Trick-or-treat! Aaron and Ryder came trick-or-treating at Grandma LaDonna’s, too!
His head got just a little sweaty in the lion costume. He had fun tackling Ryder.
His first stop and he’s worn out already. We can always tell when he’s getting sleepy… He lays down to play with his cars.
The next stop was Grandma Bonnie’s. He wasn’t too sure about this stop, I'm not sure why. But he got over it and had lots of fun going up and down the steps to the family room. He did his first steps up and down without holding on to someone or something. He was quite proud of himself.
We had one more stop, but I didn’t get anymore photos that turned out. This was just before we got out of the car. He had a chocolate covered pretzel. In retrospect, not a good thing to give a toddler. He was covered, and of course went to wipe his hands on his pants. Thank goodness for wet wipes. We cleaned him up and visited with Kandi and her grandkids and then took this little guy home for the night. It was one long day of sugar buzz! I can’t wait for next year!
