Un-forecasted Snow “Event”

Yesterday it started to unexpectedly snow at 2:30pm.  It wasn’t forecasted, but still exciting.  The time each set of photos was taken is below the photo.

And this morning it’s still sticking around.  I think a lot of the city is melted and on its way back to normal, but here we are still at 32 degrees and loving all of this snow.  For those of you out of town, it made for a hellish rush hour commute home last night.  No one was expecting this and even at 11 PM last night some of the roads still looked like 5 o’clock rush hour.  My mom got her car stuck on the side of the road but several hours later someone helped her to push it free.  She left it at work and got a ride home, arriving home about 9 PM.  That’s one long day at work.  From no snow to 3” of snow in the blink of an eye – it doesn’t get much more exciting than that around here.  As for what Brice thought of it, he took it all in stride.  I wish I had bought some rain boots so we could go out and play, but for now we’ll just enjoy it from the warmth of inside.  But you can bet rain boots are top on my list for this little guy!
